Victorian KBRP3631C Pressure Balanced Washerless Cartridge (1 Piece), Polished Chrome
The cartridge is the heart of the faucet, controlling its temperature and water flow. As this cartridge is not as sensitive to dirt, it allows for effortless control of the desired volume of water flow. Pressure Balance valves do protect against sudden changes in water pressure, but works to balance the temperature avoiding scalding.
