Kingston Heirloom KS4461BX - Metropolitan Two-Handle 3-Hole Deck Mount Widespread Bathroom Faucet with Brass Pop-Up, Polished Chrome

I’ve owned this faucet (KS4461BX) for over 10 years and genuinely love it. It fits my bathroom perfectly and has performed well. When the hot‑water cartridge finally wore out, I was able to buy a replacement with no issue — credit to Kingston Brass for supporting that part and having info on it.

My one‑star review is entirely about the lack of support for replacement parts, specifically the O‑ring for the pop‑up drain plunger. The plunger itself is fine; all I need is the O‑ring. It’s shown on the parts diagram, yet Kingston Brass provides no specifications for it.

To make matters worse, the original O‑ring not only broke — it fell down the drain — so I don’t even have the damaged one to measure.

When I called customer service to ask for the O‑ring size so I could buy a replacement locally, I was told, “We don’t know the specs,” and that my only option was to purchase an entirely new $25–$40 drain plunger through them. That’s unacceptable for a simple and inexpensive wear‑and‑tear item.

O‑rings require precise measurements — inside diameter, outside diameter, cross‑section, durometer, and material (Nitrile, Viton, etc.). You can’t guess these, and the wrong size won’t seal properly. Without this basic information, I’m left with a great faucet but a non‑functional drain.

A company selling premium fixtures should have a firm grasp of its own replacement parts, especially something as common and predictable as an O‑ring. Providing the specifications — even if they don’t sell the O‑ring separately — would solve the problem entirely.

This faucet set is well-made and provides an elegant. Very happy with my purchase.

The handle on the left does not close when I turn it clockwise. It closes counter clockwise.
