KSRPL5000CC Cold Ceramic Disc Cartridge (1 Piece), Raw

The ceramic disc cartridge is the heart of the faucet, controlling its temperature and water flow. Internally, two opposing discs made out of ceramic carbide rotate to control the flow of water. Because ceramic carbide is impervious to friction, it can last for many years before needing replacement.

Very prompt shipment of replacement cartridges for faucets.

Low quality

The original cartridges only lasted a few years. Both of the water lines downstream of the spigots split wide open (no kinks in them) in their first year and both ceramic handles came unglued from their metal centers.
