(Some) of the Best Kitchen Faucets Kingston Brass Offers: Two-Tone Edition

Last month, I highlighted some of the best kitchen faucets here at Kingston Brass based on popularity and customer ratings. This month I’ve decided to showcase my personal favorite design: two-tones.

Two-tone products and décor can be hit or miss. I find that two-tone designs look best when a lighter color and a darker color are paired. Take black and white for instance – probably the most common pairing. They both provide a balanced contrast between light and dark. Two-tones also shouldn’t necessarily be 50 percent one color and 50 percent another. What usually looks best is when there’s a primary color and a secondary color. The secondary color should be more of a trim, which helps accent the primary color.

For faucets, white porcelain handles with a Matte Black finish evokes classic sophistication while a Brushed Nickel finish with Polished Brass trim offers a bold allure. But instead of just telling you what I mean, let me show you. Here are a few of the best kitchen faucets with a two-tone design.

Wall-Mount Kitchen Faucet

The KS1280PX Heritage Wall-Mount Kitchen Faucet is prime example of a perfect two-tone design. The Matte Black finish is already a beautiful look for this wall-mount style kitchen faucet, but the porcelain cross handles take it to a whole new level of sophistication. The white trim helps bring out the Matte Black finish without being too distracting. And not that it needs any more class, but this faucet’s Victorian spout solidifies this is an ideal centerpiece for a traditional kitchen design.

Centerset Kitchen Faucet

The LS8717DLSP Concord Centerset Single-Handle Kitchen Faucet with Side Sprayer is another two-tone fixture that shows off the beautiful Matte-Black finish. It’s wonderfully paired with the popular Polished Chrome finish, providing a great contrast between dull and shine. The two finishes work in tandem to give the kitchen sink a modern aesthetic.

Widespread Kitchen Faucet

The Brushed Nickel finish and Polished Brass is a bold pairing, but the KB1799AXLS Heritage Widespread Kitchen Faucet pulls it off well. The two finishes are already considered more traditional when it comes to plumbing appliances, so they go perfectly well with this widespread faucet that’s perfectly designed for kitchens that sport a classic theme. Again, the shine of the Polished Brass is a great accent to contrast against the matte background of Brushed Nickel.

Pre-Rinse Kitchen Faucet

The GSY8881DKL Kaiser Pre-Rinse Kitchen Faucet in Polished Chrome with Black Stainless Steel trim is one example where two shiny finishes can pair nicely. The dark glimmer of the Black Stainless Steel is still dark enough that it doesn’t clash with the shine of the Polished Chrome.

Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet

Just like the Concord Centerset faucet featured above, the LS8727CTL Continental Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet also sports a Matte Black finish that’s accented with a Polished Chrome trim. This faucet evokes modern décor with its two-tone flair and dual-function pull-down sprayer functionality.
