Kingston Brass Releases Hundreds of New Bathroom Faucets in 2018

CHINO, Calif. – July 18, 2018 – To date this 2018 calendar year, Kingston Brass has released more than 1,100 new products, adding more traditional and contemporary stylings to its line of faucets, bathtubs and sinks. While Europe has fully embraced the modern day sophistication of contemporary design, America still holds Vintage-themed furnishings in high esteem. Currently, contemporary culture is gaining traction. “Keeping up with trends is very important. Currently, homeowners are looking to make the modern décor shift,” said James Choy, Kingston Brass’ Marketing Manager. Of the 1,139 new products Kingston Brass has released so far this year, 230 are lavatory faucets, which are offered in a wide array of styles customers can choose from. Kingston Brass decided to up its selection of transitional and contemporary faucets as it continues to recognize the essential role such products play in household design and remodeling, according to Choy. “Faucets aid in determining the central decor theme of the kitchen or bathroom,” Choy said. Presently, widespread lavatory faucets and centerset lavatory faucets are gaining traction on social media, said Choy. Kingston Brass has differentiated itself from the marketplace by offering widespread faucets in contemporary designs, which is not commonplace. When it comes to functionality, there are no remarkable advantages or disadvantages of either centerset or widespread lavatory faucets. It is thought that widespread faucets are easier to clean. However, the determining factor for faucet selection is often bathroom size. Bathrooms of larger proportions are where widespread faucets are usually placed, according to Kingston Brass Technical Consultant Tony Martin. The dimensions of widespread faucets are often superior to that of centerset faucets and will complement a voluminous sink adequately. Likewise, it is best to choose a centerset sink for a more petite bathroom. “Customers generally look for a faucet that matches the décor theme they are striving towards,” Martin said. Faucets boasting a traditional theme will usually possess more ornate detailing and a curvaceous shaping. Additionally, the escutcheons will typically have ridges along with the aerator and spout body. Faucets with a modern styling, particularly the Concord series, have garnered attention from consumers. The contemporary look of the NuvoFusion, NuWave and Kaiser Collections have also become popular choices among customers. For Old-World inspiration, there’s also the latest brand of faucets from the Duchess Collection, which boasts an air of sophistication and traditional aesthetic with its black porcelain handles.
