CHINO, Calif. - July 1, 2018 - Since 2005, Kingston Brass has released a number of beautiful bathtubs through their distinguished
Aqua Eden Collection. Esteemed for its extensive variations that which accommodate all homeowners and their home decor, the line features freestanding, clawfoot, pedestal, drop-in, and alcove tubs that all maintain top-notch construction and quality. As we continue through the 21st century, it is coming apparent that modern yet timeless decor is becoming a fad. Popular homes on AirBnB and HGTV feature pristine, white walls and simplistic, chic designs. Just recently in June, Kingston Brass has expanded their assemblage to include ten new tubs. All of them were specifically designed to suit the modest homes signature to this time. Tony Martin, Technical Consultant for Kingston Brass, described, "Nowadays, the nice homes are considered to be the ones decorated with minimalist decor like white walls and open floor plans. You don't really see complicated designs anymore." As a plumbing technician, Martin is highly active in the interior design market and has seen a significant shift from traditional to contemporary design. Consistent to the popular fad of today, most of the tubs featured have a rectangular configuration with steep angled walls and a sleek silhouette, allowing for ample interior floor space. Bathers can comfortably stretch and melt their stresses away, while the tub naturally boasts chic elegance. Martin also adds, "The U.S. is the only country that still incorporates traditional design into their homes. Everybody else has already transitioned to all modern designs." The American home design industry is slowly following in the footsteps of its European neighbor, and Kingston Brass has meticulously crafted these feature bathtubs to inundate these current trends into the market. Specifically, the
freestanding tub, that which is featured significantly, is gaining traction within the plumbing industry. As the name implies, these tubs are explicitly constructed to not attach to any walls. They are often recognized as the contemporary descendant of the classic
clawfoot tub. With a similar conceptual design, the freestanding tub primarily differs in that it lacks the traditional clawfoot feet. Generally, freestanding tubs either do not have feet and directly stand on the floor or feature contemporary rectangular feet. Homeowners typically pair the tub with a freestanding tub filler, making for a refined and stately duo for the bathroom. The other style of tub showcased in Kingston Brass' brand-new releases is the classic
alcove tub. The alcove tub is installed into a designated cove in which it is surrounded by three walls. This type of bathtub is easily recognizable because it is very commonly seen in most homes. The singular wall that is exposed is called an apron and traditionally offers decorative flair. However, in accordance with the latest fads, Kingston Brass' new alcove bathtubs are minimalist, finished in a pristine white color, and feature sleek angles and edges. Throughout the Aqua Eden Collection, there are several tubs that vary in style, configuration, type, material, features, finish, and more. Whether seeking contemporary or traditional styles, homeowners are bound to find the perfect tub to flatter their home. Browse Kingston Brass' ten featured tubs by clicking
