This is the VTDE603122R – a Contemporary Alcove Acrylic Bathtub that is perfect for unwinding after a long and exhausting day. This design is available with a Left hand drain (VTDE603122L) or a Right hand drain (VTDE603122R). Manufactured from acrylic and reinforced with fiberglass and resin material, this bathtub is 50% lighter than traditional cast iron material. Elegantly crafted from a durable 3 to 5 millimeter acrylic material, this alcove tub with an attached apron is perfect for transforming an ordinary bathroom into a lavish personal spa. While this tub is closed on 3 sides with walls or windows, the attached apron will help hide the underside of your tub and finish the look of your new tub.

ABOUT THE ACRYLIC ALCOVE BATHTUBS:

Lightweight and strong, acrylic tubs are easy to move compared to traditional cast iron material. For Alcove tubs, the 3 to 5 mm sheet of acrylic is molded, then reinforced with fiberglass and a resin material for greater warmth retention and strength. Acrylic was designed and has proven to be highly resistant to stains. It scratches easier than a porcelain enamel surface but the scratches can be more easily repaired. With a high gloss finish, similar to the enameled look on cast iron, the acrylic bathtub has a majority of the benefits of cast iron without the weight.
