Kingston Brass faucets and shower fixtures come with several type of valves and cartridges to meet the demand of each application. As price and quality of each maybe varied, each serves its purpose very well accordingly. At this time, there are 4 different cartridges being used in Kingston Brass faucet fixture. Duraseal, Hardisc, Ceraseal, and Safebath. Duraseal is standard washerless cartridge that you see in most faucets. Hardisc and Cearseal are design to withstand high mineral water [hard water] as they come with ceramic disc. Ceramic disc plate used in Ceramic Cartridge is second hardest substance next to diamond and it will stand the ware and tear for a long time. Safebath is a very stable and standard pressure balance washerless cartridge that is mostly used in our tub and shower fixture system.
