Kingston Brass Offers Wider Variety of Wall-Mount Faucets

Kingston Brass, Calif. – June 20, 2018 – Kingston Brass is answering the call of home owners and interior decorators who have asked for more options when it comes to wall-mount faucets.

Already a leading provider of wall-mount fixtures in the plumbing market, Kingston Brass has added more such faucets with even more variety to its product line, allowing consumers to break away from the typical faucet look in their bathrooms and kitchens.

“We felt there was a need from certain homeowners who were desiring to see a wider variety” of wall-mount faucets, Kingston Brass Marketing Manager James Choy said.

According to Choy, the company felt encouraged to widen its variety of wall-mount fixtures after seeing an outpouring of social media posts from satisfied customers who had uploaded photos of their Kingston Brass pot-filler faucets.

“We’ve seen so many people showing of their pot-filler faucets, we felt with the wall mounts we can bring more variety,” Choy said.

While, functionally speaking, wall-mount faucets may not pose any greater benefit than sink-mounted faucets, they’re more aesthetically pleasing and give counter tops a nicer looking centerpiece. Most importantly, wall mounts are ideal for uncluttering counter tops in kitchens and bathrooms.

According to Tony Martin, the technical consultant for Kingston Brass, wall-mount faucets are typically found in kitchens where items such as pot-fillers are best utilized to provide flexibility and a spout reach of 18” to 20." However, wall-mounts certainly come in handy in bathrooms that have vessel sinks, he noted.

Because of their vintage aesthetic, Martin added, customers generally look for wall-mounts that’ll fit the traditional décor of their kitchen and bathrooms.

One way to identify a traditional style from the contemporary is the faucet’s spout. Traditional themed wall-mount faucets will usually sport a Victorian or an Edwardian spout while the modern wall mounts have gooseneck or high-arch spouts

The Heritage series wall-mount faucets, which have a traditional styling, have been a popular choice among Kingston Brass’ customers. But one newer brand of wall mounts that stands out is the Duchess Collection. Boasting a traditional aesthetic, the Duchess wall-mounts share the distinctive feature of black handles to give faucets a two-tone appearance.

For another two-tone option, the Heritage series also features wall-mount faucets with the option of white porcelain handles that can come in either metal lever or cross handles.
